Today, May 3, is National Teacher Appreciation Day. And in celebration, many stores and restaurants are offering deals and freebies to educators.
So, if you’re a teacher, head out to one (or all) of these places after today’s final bell.
Amazon Prime – Anyone with an .edu email account can enjoy Amazon Student free for six months. This gives you free 2-day shipping, textbook discounts for rentals and more.
Apple Store for Education – save up to $200 on a new Mac, and up to $20 on a new iPad.
Barnes & Noble – Giving a 25 percent discount on the publisher’s list price for all purchases for classroom use.
Chick-fil-A – Offering a free chicken biscuit or Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich to teachers, educators and administrators.
Chipotle – BOGO burritos, bowls, salads or tacos. Must have valid teacher ID. Promo available between 3 p.m. and close.
McDonald’s – Participating locations will offer local teachers a free medium McCafé beverage on the McDonald’s mobile app.
NY & Co. – Offering 30 percent in store purchases or 30 percent off $50 online purchases for teachers and nurses. Use the online code 6223.
